- Hyatt is a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College, & Western Michigan University's Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Hyatt & his family live in Traverse City, MI, and he is engaged in his community, as the SVP of Commercial Lending for United Bank of Michigan, and he is experienced in providing project financing across a wide range of industries, with most projects involving commercial real estate/development-construction, mergers, acquisitions, expansions, re-financing & restructuring, and even start-ups. Hyatt has been the Youth Services Chairman and Board Member for The Kiwanis Club of Traverse City and has also served on The Leelanau School Board (Treasurer), amongst many other community activities, such as teaching Junior Achievement, and coaching many area youth sports and activities.
