John D. Hyatt is the President and founder of Hyatt Agency, a diversified business and financial services firm. Hyatt principally works with companies looking to divest ownership, raise capital, or sell their business outright, along with buyers seeking targeted acquisitions to expand capabilities, geographic growth, or strategic partnerships - providing counsel and “intermediary services,” for business sales, realty, and various special projects.
Hyatt is also experienced in providing project financing across a wide range of industries, with most projects involving commercial real estate/development, mergers, acquisitions, expansions, and even start-ups. Hyat is also a licensed attorney (hyattlegalsolutions.com) and a licensed real estate broker and he has been working to provide solutions and add value to his employers, clients, and relationships for more than 20 years.
Hyatt is a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College, & Western Michigan University's Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Hyatt & his family live in Traverse City, MI, and he is very engaged in his community, as the Business Development Manager/Commercial Lender for Team One Credit Union, Traverse City Office (project financing of 50M to 10MM); Hyatt has been the Youth Services Chairman and Board Member for The Kiwanis Club of Traverse City, and also served on The Leelanau School Board.
