John D. Hyatt is the President and founder of Hyatt Agency, P.C. ”Hyatt” is a licensed Michigan Attorney & Real Estate Broker and provides counsel and “intermediary services,” surrounding business sales & acquisitions, business, real estate & financing brokerage, and counsel and representation on a range of other legal issues, such as real estate issues, probate & social security disability. Though these engagements are taken on, on a limited basis, Hyatt is always open to having a conversation about your situation and goals & seeing if working together would look to be a good fit for both of us. Hyatt is a veteran of The United States Marine Corps and graduated from Michigan State University's James Madison College, & Western Michigan University's Thomas M. Cooley Law School. Hyatt & his family live in Traverse City, MI, and he is engaged in his community, as the SRVP of Commercial Lending for United Bank of Michigan, and on a day-to-day basis is principally engaged in providing commercial real estate financing solutions to real estate investors and business owners, for properties in all Michigan markets, with most projects involving the financing (purchase, refinance/restructuring, or construction of) of retail, industrial, and multi-family properties. Hyatt also serves on the Garfield Township (Grand Traverse County), MI Zoning Board of Appeals, and has previously been the Youth Services Chairman and Board Member for The Kiwanis Club of Traverse City and has also served on The Leelanau School Board (Treasurer), amongst many other community activities, such as teaching Junior Achievement, and coaching many area youth sports and activities (track, cross country, tennis, robotics, volleyball, soccer, football, etc.).
